Clara Fortis (b. Vienna, Austria) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Paris, France. Raised in Switzerland and Russia, her research-based practice explores human behaviour, informed by her experiences as a third-culture individual. Fortis draws from psychological theories and concepts to create intimate and emotional environments that examine the complexities of social dynamics.
Fortis is graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art, Media and Technology and Fashion Studies from Parsons Paris in May 2025. She also studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City between 2023 and 2024, where she began focusing on sculpture, which has since become central to her practice.
