Drawing from psychological theories, the installation delves into the complexities of communication. The Posture of Hearing directs the body into a position of hearing, focusing on the gesture of cupping one’s hands behind the ears. The steel sculpture also confines the body into a kneeling position. In dialogue, The Anatomy of Screaming explores speech, referencing vocal cords in motion at throat level. Together, the works confront the violence of exclusion, highlighting the struggle to be truly heard and understood.
